The Founder of Bloom & Chic
Mónica is a candle artisan with a profound love for floral design and a writer based in South Florida. Drawing from her wealth of experience at an international sales organization, she decided to launch different design-oriented businesses during the past few years. She has been passionate about design from an early age. While learning about fashion and interior design at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale were actively part of the honor roll, She thought about owning her own business centered on elements of beauty and style. After holding a clothing boutique and an equestrian line, she was still in need of something deeper and more aligned with her creative mind.
She started a luxurious candle line by using the highest quality ingredients and components ethically sourced with the desire to enhance the space of everyone who crosses paths with her products by using candles as a medium to evoke emotions and memories and launched Bloom & Chic.
Whether working with candles or flowers, her clients can always count to have elements of surprise, abundance with endlessly chic and graceful style no matter the occasion. Because of her interest in the equestrian lifestyle, she loves to work with horses and flowers, creating beautiful pieces for her clients on their special day or location shoots.
Mónica is a big advocate for animal rights and an equestrian. When not working on her studio, she is usually training, competing, or attending different horse shows during Florida season.
